The Cisco QSFP-100G-LR-S Module supports link lengths of up to 10 km over a standard pair of G.652 Single-Mode Fiber (SMF) with duplex LC connectors. The 100 Gigabit Ethernet signal is carried over a single wavelength using onboard PAM4 modulation and FEC.

    We have an 8 port CWDM passive MUX and are using 5 wavelengths, is it possible to use this in the 1310 wavelength port on our passive CWDM MUX without affecting the other wavelengths?

If the 1310 channel of your 8-port CWDM passive multiplexer is a CWDM wavelength channel, it cannot be used with it; If the 1310 channel of your 8-port CWDM passive multiplexer is a special port, that is, the channel bandwidth is 1310+-50nm, then it can be used with this without affecting the transmission of other channels.
