Bought this as a replacement for an older SAS cable. First use was fine, link came up immediately. Build quality seems good, just a little stiffer than I expected when routing it in a tighter rack space.

Worked right away between two HPE switches. No setup really, just plugged it in and the link came up at 10G instantly. Cable feels solid and not too stiff for a 3m DAC.

Does what it’s supposed to. Connected P431 to storage shelf, no errors, no fuss. 2m length was perfect for my cabinet.

Good card overall. Packaging was fine, setup took maybe 15 minutes, and first boot saw both ports. Only annoyance was the firmware on ours was older than expected, so I had to update before putting it in production.

I purchased the HPE J4858C for my HPE switch. The module fits well, connects without issue, and performs as described. It was packaged securely and worked right after installation.
