XBR-000420 I don’t usually review transceivers but this one earned it. We needed a genuine Brocade QSFP for a Gen 7 X7 ICL link and didn’t want to gamble on compatibility.

XBR-000412 Seriously, I was kinda dreading installing a new transceiver. You never know if the off-brand ones are gonna throw errors or get rejected by the switch. But this Brocade 32G SFP+ (part 57-1000485-01) was literally plug-and-play. I popped it into my Brocade switch, and it recognized it immediately—no fuss, no errors, no weird warnings. Link came up right away and has been stable ever since. Performance is exactly what you’d expect: full 32G throughput, low latency, no drops. If you’re running Brocade gear and need a reliable optic, just get the genuine one. It’s not worth saving a few bucks on a third-party module that might cause issues down the line. This one’s a sure thing.

Good for Legacy FC Worked well in supported Brocade switches, with DOM visibility and solid link stability. Good option for legacy Fibre Channel deployments.
