This Cisco ACS-2500ASYN console cable kit comes with a 10' long CAB-500RJ console/AUX rollover cable. This cable has an RJ45 plug at each end. The kit also includes three modular adapters for a variety of applications:
- CAB-25AS-MMOD Eq. DCE adapter with DB25M plug
- CAB-25AS-FDTE Eq. DTE adapter with DB25F port
- CAB-9AS-FDTE Eq. DTE adapter with DB9F port
This 4-piece console cable kit is used for connecting your computer's serial port to the console port on most Cisco equipment. This kit includes everything you need! That means, you get an RJ45 to RJ45 rollover cable, a DB9 connector to connect the cable to your computers serial port, and a male and female DB25 adaptor to connect the other end of the cable to your Cisco equipment where applicable. There are several manufacturers of network and telecom equipment that use the RJ45 type console ports on their equipment. In some cases this cable will work with their equipment as well. Check with us or your equipment manufacturer before purchasing this cable for use with any non-standard Cisco equipment.
