Worked like a charm first try out of the box

Used this to connect a laptop to a Cisco switch console port. Started PUTTY and it just worked. Way better than the previous USB to 9 pin and 9 pin to console that never worked properly.

Works as advertised and did not require any loading of drivers.

Simple functional and has performed Great when used with Juniper products as well as Cisco.

To have on hand

I always have a few of these on hand from different manufacturers just in case. You never know when a switch is going to try to brick on you. Tested this one and it seem fine to me.

Works with Aruba CP, switches, AP's, Controller, GW, after driver download

Works with HPE Aruba switches, and wireless products after downloading driver (as others have mentioned). Search online for FTDI USB console drivers.

Good USB Serial for switch

Will not work until you load the drivers, make sure you check your device manager (which will also list what COM port was assigned after the drivers are installed).Drivers for 10/11 avail from MS Update, or can download the full driver package direct from the USB chipset MFG (ftdichipDOTcom/drivers/) which includes drivers back to Win7.My one wish is that they used an extended clip release on the RJ45 as some switches are difficult to get back out due to positioning in the rack
